Thanh Kieu Beach Resort - Phu Quoc

Beautiful beachfront access and vibrant gardens were perfect. The restaurant prices felt overpriced compared to local options.

Staying at Thanh Kieu Beach was good. The beachfront location was amazing, with easy access to the soft sand and beautiful waters just steps away. My bungalow provided a unique outdoor shower. Breakfast offered a great buffet, especially the fresh juices. Every morning started with variety and local flavors. One highlight was the service from Trang. The community atmosphere. There were a few drawbacks. The room had cracks allowing mosquitoes inside, and I wasn't thrilled about the hotel keeping my passport during check-in. Prices at the beach restaurant felt steep compared to local eateries nearby. It's a charming place with friendly vibes but could use fine-tuning in a few areas.

The staff was friendly and the meals were great. The Bundalow was clean and comfortable and near the beach. I will return for another stay.

the beach location was very nice

There were a lot of bugs in the room. The thatched roof was not attached to the walls so the roaches and geckos were able to freely move in and out. The geckos are not a bother, but trying to sleep knowing that critters, including roaches, were crawling around the room was impossible. The bathroom was open and you couldn't shower without soaking the whole area, including the toilet paper. The beds were hard and uncomfortable.

Amazing location in one of the best parts of the beach (Long Beach). The staff was willing to help in everything (I forgot something in the bedroom and after 10' they delivered it in the airport). Great value for money taking in account the size of the room, perfect location and great breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends.

Not perfect, but worth it

Fine sunsets combined with amazing beach BBQ made each meal nice! The garden setting is picturesque!

Mosquito presence can be bothersome. The outdoor bathrooms may not be suitable for those wary of nature's critters,, and the weak shower water pressure can frustrate.

Breakfast included and had many options and as much as we wanted to eat. Room was a good size and comfortable with a little sitting area in front. Temperature in room was comfortable even though no air conditioning. Location right on beach was lovely, and garden area was welcoming.

We took the ferry from Ha Tien and arranged transport to the resort in advance. We were told by a staff member at the resort that someone would pick us up at the ferry for $3 USD each and take us to the resort. When we checked in at the ferry office in Ha Tien, we found out that there is a free shuttle to the resorts on Long Beach so arranged that instead, and I asked the girl at the ferry office to phone the resort so they wouldn't send someone to pick us up. She told me not to worry, they wouldn't pick us up anyway, so they didn't need to phone. When we arrived, sure enough, no one came to pick us up. We're not sure why they didn't just tell us about the shuttle if they weren't going to pick us up anyways. Similar story when we left. We took the boat to Rach Gia and were told by a staff member at the resort (we believe the same person) that someone would meet us with a sign with our name on it for the free transfer to the bus station (since we were continuing on to Saigon). When we arrived, there was no one and we ended up having to go into the boat station and got the free transfer anyways, but after some confusion and other people trying to rip us off with a $6 pp fee to the bus station (don't pay that). We just don't understand why they kept telling us people were going to meet us when they really weren't. Very frustrating and would be much better to tell your customers what they should expect rather than something that is just not true. The rest of the staff were very friendly though!

it is clean and beautiful hotel with convenient free parking. the view to sea is absolutely stunning, the room is well-equipped. the bed is comfortable. the services are very good, including a clean pool. besides, they have fast wi-fi.
